Can we please have a report developed that givesus a easy glance at how bank feeds are set up in a easy exportable format to excel. Would be great to be able to import back into the file too. Food for thought! I am comingacross some files where users, accountants and bookkeepers have set up rules that are totallyincorrect. Currently I have to click into each rule to review them and fix them. For example recently I consulted to a client who had set up a rule for all employees to post directly to wages. That was very silly!!! I see this happen often....as part of my bank rule review I always check this now by reconciling the PAYG and Wages. It pays to review bank rules on a quarterly basis at least to pick up any errors that could be occurringand this report would make it easy for us to identify errors for the BAS as well. I would like to set one default form for an Item Quote, and a separate default form for an Item Invoice. In other words: We have 2 Form Templates - one for quotes - lets call this one "QuoteFormat", and another for invoices - lets call this one "InvoiceFormat". These forms are slightly different At the moment we have the default set as "QuoteFormat" so that every Item sale by default prints/emails using the "QuoteFormat". Every time we have to send an invoice we need to change the form to "InvoiceFormat". This requires [unnecessary] extra clicks, it's easy to forget to do this, and certainly slows the process down - I use the latest AccountRight Live (2015.2) so it is often quite slow to display the list of available forms. An additional important benefit to this would be the ability to use the "Save to Disk" feature on Invoices - which CANNOT select a custom form other than the default (Crazy, right??) The In Tray functionality for purchases was a great addition and is extremely useful. I'd like to suggest being able to attach the invoice to a Purchase directly from the Edit Purchase window. Currently, if I'm editing a purchase and notice that no invoice has been attached, I can't just click an"Upload File" button. I need to exit the purchase, go to In Tray, Add Document, Link to Existing Bill, find the original Purchase I was working on and then link the uploaded document. It would be extremely useful to avoid all of these extra steps and just have a one-click upload feature, similar to the Unlink button you already provide in the Edit Purchase window.Inventory: Separate item descriptions for sales and purchases
From what I can tell, creating an inventory item that has a suitable description for both sales and purchases is not achievable. If there was a tick box under the item details tab for: 'include item description on sales' OR 'include item description on purchases' it would simply solve this problem. I could then use the detailed description for sales and the profile name for purchase orders and generate my purchase orders with little effort directly from the customer sales order. Hello One of the aspects of MYOB that I find slows me down considerably is the need to know numbers instead of being able to search by name. I was able to do this on another accounting package that I used to use. Eg. When entering invoices it would be far quicker to be able to search for "Job Name" alphabetically from job list instead of having to know/find the actual job number Also when creating a card it would be simpler to type "job materials" instead of needing to know/find the number from the chart of accounts. We are a builder who have a lot of various subcontractors. Most are registered for GST, but there are several who are not. As MYOB doesnt currently pick up the Supplier Card tax code, we have to just "remember" which subcontractors are not registered for GST (GNR). We are using Bank Feeds to save us time, which means we our purchases are entered as a "Spend Money" transaction (we have a rule set up). Supplier Card tax codes are not picked up in the Spend Money transactions. The following would be useful: 1. ALLOW "SPEND MONEY" USE THE SUPPLIER CARD TAX CODE: Can the "Spend Money" transaction be altered toapply and use the relevant Supplier Card tax code, rather than a default setting? Because this isnot picked up from the Supplier Card, if a subcontractor is not registered for GST (i.e. GNR) and we have to "remember" to change the tax code MANUALLY to GNR. -------------------------- OR ----------------------------------------- 2. We are using Bank Feeds to save us time, so doing the above steps would be going backwards for us.Can youadd the option to "Enter as a purchase" when we right click on a bank feed transaction, which would then apply the tax code from the Supplier Card to the transaction?
