Authenticator code always errors

I use AccountRight, and have for many years. I have received an email about adding a second form of 2FA. Every time I click the link to do that, I am asked for my authenticator code, but it never accepts it. I have used the authenticator many times before without issues.  I tried to access the help bot, but that didn't work either. I found a place where I could send in a query to MYOB, and did so, except that it didn't give me a way to say what my problem is, and I haven't heard back. I cannot find any other way to get in touch with MYOB. Very frustrating, being unable to get help.

    I'm sorry to hear about the frustration you're experiencing with the two-factor authentication process. 2FA Authentication provides troubleshooting steps specifically for 2FA issues. This might help you resolve the problem more quickly. If you haven't received a response from the query you submitted.     Hi MYOB

    I have a problem with my Authenticator. I recently purchased a new phone and successfully put MYOB on the Authenticator on my new phone. It comes up with recurring different numbers when I'm ready to log in to MYOB, but it doesn't work!  My old phone's Authenticator is how I am still getting into MYOB, but I really need for it to work on my new phone. My phone number is still the same, as is my email address.

     

    p.s.  how hard is it to start a new post on this community forum?????? I don't post very often, so I was looking everywhere for an easy way to click a link or start a new post for this problem.  I'm sure it wasn't this hard in the past!!!

    Hi HoneySandra 

     

    Setting up 2FA on a new phone is definitely the first thing to do.

    If the in-app transfer for 2FA doesn’t work, a manual reset is required. I’ve gone ahead and reset the 2FA on the email linked to your forum account. Next time you log in, you’ll be prompted to set up 2FA again, just like the first time.

    As for creating a new forum post, you need to open the forum board relating to your concern first before the option to create a post appears.
