Offline company file to Online

I have a company file which is offline that needs to be brought online and it won't let me do it as i already have an online file linked to my serial number. 

 

I have attempted to bring the file online by purchasing another AccountRight subscription but it still won't allow me to bring my offline file online.

 

Someone picked up 3 hours into the hold and said they weren't trained for this query and put me back into the queue. 

 

I've been on hold for almost 5 hours on the phone with support with no response. 

 

Could you please get back to me asap.

    Yes, this seems to be a common occurrence.  We should be charging MYOB for our time lost.  Over the past 3 weeks I have wasted approximately 18 hours+, either on hold & then speaking with a person not adequately trained so once they wasted more time for about 0.75-1.25 hours, concede that I will need to be transferred to another dept/person then I'm back in the queue.  I don't phone over basic functions of MYOB as I have been using MYOB for over 26 years, it usually is more technical issues, i.e. currently needing to keep using an offline file and require offline backups for online files.  Also, needed to change an ownership of a file (this one was a nightmare).

    Good Luck with your MYOB problem being fixed!  What a saga!

    Hi Llayton,

    I can understand why this has been so frustrating, especially after spending so much time trying to get through to support.

    If you already have an online company file linked to your serial number, that can affect whether another file can be brought online under the same subscription setup. Because of that, this usually needs to be checked from our side to confirm what options are available for your account and file.

    MYOB has become very incompetent.  I have also experienced this issue with a client's file and it is taking forever to resolve.

    Also MYOB needs to:

    RE-INSTATE OFFLINE BACKUPS
