Payroll - First payrun in new Financial Year times-out

I have tried to process the first payrun in the new Financial Year, which "times-out" at the point of recording. Pay period 23/06/24 - 30/06/24 with payment date 04/07/24. System hangs for approx 4 mins after selecting "Record". System returns with error message of "Retry" or "Cancel". Selecting "Retry" results in the same outcome. Only option is to select "Cancel". Payroll is then not recorded. The same problem occurred last FY and was not resolved by MYOB until Friday. Case reference from last year was 01372663 & 01373520.

Have tried clearing Cache.

  • This has now been resolved by MYOB support over the phone. Case ref 01820999. Thanks.

  • Been on MOCA this morning for 2hrs to be told its in the hands of the developers. So the first payrun anyone does for the new FY will crash and wont go through STP!!!

5 years in a row ive experience this same issue :(   Luckily ive managed to pay everyone, its just it hasnt sent to ATO through STP yet as thats what the developers are fixing. Its crazy how relaxed their customer service is.

I wish that was the case for me. After it times out I have the option to retry or cancel. If I retry it just times out again, if i cancel the payroll is not recorded.

Any tips to get it to pay without the STP?

    Hi MichaelaJohnson,

Spending time trying to get through and still not getting the help you need is the last thing we’d want you to experience.

I took a look at your Community Forum profile and was able to find your case. I’ve followed it up with the team and asked them to help move things along. You should hear from them as soon as possible.

SMPENG, if you’re able to send us a private message with your account details or case number, I can take a closer look and do my best to help.

    Cheers,

    Princess
