Hi all, it seems I have app issues with MYOB and I’m trying to sort it out. Firstly, my customers never load, if I’m using a reoccurring customer, I can’t use the app, it tells me “somethings gone wrong” and to try again, which never works. secondly, if it’s a new customer, I can fill out the details, that works fine, but when it comes to typing the invoice if I use service, same thing happens, “somethings gone wrong” if I use item, I can’t add lines to my invoice or it just sits there and loads nothing. what am I doing wrong ? I can literally only view invoices on the app.. Why Why are you getting rid of the simple capture The capture was simple. Employees out buying stuff captured the invoice / receipt. We had multiple people out doing this. We didn't require MFA OR multiple login's because it was a simple capture utility. Now you have announced this assist rubbish will have to be used for capture with MFA and no shared accounts. Thanks a lot.. MYOB Assist adding users Hi All, We use the MYOB assist app mainly for uploading credit card receipts. We have approximately 8 employees using credit cards and I am currently uploading all the receipts but its very time consuming and many receipts are lost. It would be awesome if each employee could upload their own receipts via the app. Is there an easy way to assign everyone a login? I have looked at the MYOB instructions but it appears very complicated! Thanks for any assistance. I am not using a different email address and have no trouble logging into our main file via a new private session with 2FA, but the Team extension is still not working. Unable to set approving manager I am following all the steps in the "Using the MYOB Team admin portal" guide, and despite having added 3 employees to MYOB Team, when I go to the location and click on the dropdown beneath "Approving Manager" I am told "no matches found" - unsure what to do. I have started to setup Microsoft Teams in ARL and only realised that the timesheets option offered in Locations only works with MYOB Business Pro. Software gave me the option, even though I don't have a Business Pro subscription. Added an approving manager which was fine but then realised I couldn't add employees. So finally on some searching found the Getting Started with MYOB Teams. Deleted the location that had the timesheets option, added a new one with Clock On, Clock Off Mobile. But now I can't add an approving manager to the new location. Software advises there aren't any employees to choose. HELP PLEASE !!!! To access Quotes, make sure your MYOB Assist app is updated to the latest version. MYOB Assist determines the layout automatically based on what you add: Adding only items > uses the Combined layout in MYOB Business and the Items layout in AccountRight Adding only custom items without editing the unit pricing fields > uses the Services layout This keeps quoting flexible and consistent without extra setup. Where can I find Quotes? Just open MYOB Assist and tap the Quotes tile in the home screen MYOB Assist I do not like this MYOB assist at all. I hate having to log in everytime just to upload my invoices. And the camera will not take a picture of some invoices it just says hold steady for ages. The old one was so much easier to use. MYOB Team not connecting to MYOB MYOB Team was working but is no longer connecting to my MYOB company file, a message appears at log in saying 'MYOB Team would like to access your company file'. When I click 'allow access' button, nothing happens. The same message just reappears on screen. When I try to approve timesheets on the mobile app, I can see the timesheets, the app allows me to approve them but nothing flows through to MYOB. Does anyone know how to fix this? Staying signed in on android Is there an easy way to stay logged in on a Samsung device?. There's no option for enabling biometrics. MYOB teams not signing in My employee has downloaded the Teams app and tried to create an account. It says it's been created but it doesn't ask for a password. Then it says to return to MYOB team, but she hasn't set up a password to be able to login. We've deleted the app and re-downloaded but it hasn't helped. Even clicking on the Forgot Password? takes you to a confusing screen. There's not simple way to reset it with a link. Upload receipts My camera is not working on MYOB ASSIST to capture a receipt to upload. Access Received an email from MYOB today “upload receipts without access etc instructions Use the Contacts role for team members if you wish to control visibility of reports, invoices, and sensitive information. Team members with Payroll and Sales roles can also now use the capture functionality within the Assist app. TROUBLE IS: There is not a “Contacts” role in the “Company file roles” list another hour of wasted time. Why can’t you check these things before making press releases?
