Image and file attachments for invoices and quotes are now live in MYOB Assist. You can upload JPG, PNG, PDF and TIFF files directly from your camera, photo gallery or device files. Each file must be 10MB or smaller, with a total attachment limit of 25MB per invoice or quote. You can give it a go now in the app, just make sure you're on the latest version! Currently using this for adding vehicle details due to no option to customise the layout for my trade. If possible can this be adjusted from 20 characters to say 30 or 40. Hold and drag items in list to re-arrange priority. If possible, can a hold and drag ability be available to re-arrange the itemised list. Customer activity in assist Why would myob bring out an app (assist) that removes such a vital function, ie: the ability to check customer actions on your invoice correspondence? Yes you can log in on your browser, but that's not efficient. If I am required to go through the process and inconvenience of logging in and navigating the web version, then that would rule out the need to also log into the assist app to create an invoice. It's double handling. I may as bloody well create an invoice whilst I'm there. Myob are obviously not in touch with what users actually need. Stupidity at it finest, or am I missing something? Thank you Jane Public Holiday Option in Teams Why isn't there an option in MYOB Team app to select "public holiday not worked"? Currently you must manually edit employee timesheets for that day. When you have some permanent employees working and some that don't, it makes it extremely difficult to know who has actually worked, how many hours they actually worked for the day in comparison to their normal working hours. How do people manage this? Nearly feels like manual time books are easier. Suggestion: Simplify MYOB login Why doesn’t MYOB use a login system similar to banking apps? Log in once, link the device to the account, then allow access with a PIN and/or biometrics. That would make it simpler, faster, and easier for regular users. Is there a reason this isn’t implemented? MYOB ASSIST & Sending invoices via SMS Hi - we've just signed up to take online payments. We have MYOB assist loaded on our phones. When we raise a test invoice and send via email everything works perfectly. However when we tried sending via SMS the invoice didn't arrive (checked number & tried twice) - is there something else that needs to be set up for the SMS function to work? Also when you share a PDF from the phone APP none of the online payment details appear. Is this intentional? MYOB Assist is not working Hi, I have been using MYOB Capture to upload receipts. And after I came back from overseas recently, the MYOB capture is gone, and instead, MYOB Assist. It is not working. I have been trying for a whole week, and I can only receive a message "Something went wrong, wait a moment and try again, reload" every time I open the app. I tried to find online support or a phone number to call. Then a few weeks ago, I was unable to login and it doesn't take you to the original login page. It goes to a homepage and no matter where i try to login in it doesn't work. Focus for the program is simply employees worked times are saved in the system whereas currently they are sms through to payroll only small team of 5. So I know start can log on and log off. But my questions are No timesheet set up. If a staff member works Example Wednesday and forget to log on at the start of their shift, how can they not the approver simply back date the day and insert their start time and finish time and add or remove a lunch break. MYOB TEAM ISSUE About a month back we had issues with adding employees to MYOB TEAM. The issue is fixed, however, another one has surfaced....i have added the new employee and sent an invite to join our roster, they receive the invite but when they click to create an account and they enters their email it says an account already exists, but have never used it before Cannot download MYOB Assist app Hello community. Hi all, it seems I have app issues with MYOB and I’m trying to sort it out. Firstly, my customers never load, if I’m using a reoccurring customer, I can’t use the app, it tells me “somethings gone wrong” and to try again, which never works. secondly, if it’s a new customer, I can fill out the details, that works fine, but when it comes to typing the invoice if I use service, same thing happens, “somethings gone wrong” if I use item, I can’t add lines to my invoice or it just sits there and loads nothing. what am I doing wrong ? I can literally only view invoices on the app.. Why Why are you getting rid of the simple capture The capture was simple. Employees out buying stuff captured the invoice / receipt. We had multiple people out doing this. We didn't require MFA OR multiple login's because it was a simple capture utility. Now you have announced this assist rubbish will have to be used for capture with MFA and no shared accounts. Thanks a lot.. MYOB Assist adding users Hi All, We use the MYOB assist app mainly for uploading credit card receipts. We have approximately 8 employees using credit cards and I am currently uploading all the receipts but its very time consuming and many receipts are lost. It would be awesome if each employee could upload their own receipts via the app. Is there an easy way to assign everyone a login? I have looked at the MYOB instructions but it appears very complicated! Thanks for any assistance.
