Unable to confirm a company file online, on a Sunday, no other options available

I have an old version of MYOB Account Right Standard, V15, which I have used since I purchased it. 

MYOB has blocked the ability of confirming it online. This has happened to me consistently multiple times before.

 

It is Sunday 26th November and I have until tonight to complete my July BAS. 

 

Last tIme I had to ring, I was assured my file is indeed legitimate (indeed it is, I purchased it in a box from Harvey Norman) and that this would not happen again.

 

Another V15 user has, I note, complained about this online and the accepted resolution says to "reach out to an online Moderator" for assistance. I have been unable to see how to do this by private message.

 

I am doubtful that any moderator will reach out to me today. However, this post at least provides an opportunity. 

 

I own this program and MYOB does not have the legal right to prevent me from using it. Confirming online is acceptable. I intend to pursue the matter further, once my BAS id lodged.

      Indeed  I had to wait until today,  Monday when I contacted MYOB by phone and am now logged in. However I am very unhappy that online confirmation of my product is not available. My BAS lodgment will be late, because of MYOB.

       

      I have tried again this morning, after I had access to my file, to see if online confirmation worked. And no, it did not. The MYOB community implies that online confirmation for my old 2015 version will not work, despite the above post by Leneth_A  that it is a current issue being investigated,  because they want us to sell an upgrade and force us to ring.

       

      I will not be upgrading. The max transactions I do is only around 50 per quarter, this version is stable, and I own it. All the history is on here.

       

      If online confirmation is never going to be available for old versions, thus preventing me from using my software on a Sunday, this is, in my view, illegal. I have a legitimate MYOB registered version.

        Hi MLockyear 

         

        Wise to be concerned - see this link before you accept a free upgrade from MYOB. Not sure if this is true or not, but if it is, a free upgrade might be the first step in taking away you existing licence rights.
