Employees: Ability to set a default extra (PAYG) tax amount
I have an employee that wants to have an extra $10 of tax withheld from his pay each week. The ATO form has an option for tax to be withheld at a particular percentage, or for tax to be increased by a fixed amount. The Support chat line clarified that LiveAccounts currently only supports the percentage option. We will need to vary the tax withheld each week manually., I would like to see an enhancement to allow for the increased withholding by a fixed amount. This would seem fairly straightforward and would make weekly payroll simpler for us. Thanks Scott "Withholding Variation - Fixed Amount"5.9KViews33likes9CommentsAdd the item number in the Stock alert

Having either (or both) offline and backup functionality added to LiveAccounts would be great points of difference for a web-browser based accounting package. MYOB prides itself with the AccountRight Live software being the only cloud accounting package which can be used offline should the MYOB server go down or the internet connection lost. This needs to be applied to LiveAccounts. A lot of people won't use online only software because The LiveAccounts servers have gone down on multiple occasions stopping us from accessing our financial data and we have no idea how long the outage lasts until the solution/(s) have been found. If a offline or backup functionality was added to LiveAccounts then we'd still be able to access our accounts when we need to. Being locked out of your accounting file for hours is not acceptable. I think Myob should be able to match uneven amounts that are deposited. This is particularly troublesome for me as I receive eftpos deposits containing several progress payments across multiple invoices. There needs to be a better strategy implemented in the supplier payment interface. We can easily have over 100 transactions for a month for one supplier and the current set up is beyond a joke. You are unable to bring a supplier up and then enter payment and use the tab function. You have to click on each line in the payment amount heading with your mouse, enter the amount and then click on the next line. If you try to tab at the moment it goes straight to save button. The supplier payment interface needs full tab functionality implemented and also a tick box so that if you have 100 transactions for one supplier that you are paying at the same time you can just click on each box and ensure your total up the top is the amount that your paying and then its done. It takes so long manually entering each amount and very easy to be out one or two cents out and then you have to spend another 10-15 minutes checking each line to ensure youve inputed the correct payment amount. Hi All, MYOB Essentials does not allow Sub-Headings, Sub-Totals and Blank lines in Invoices & Quotes - this is a massive oversight of basic functionality, and I would request it be added as soon as possible. Xero and QuickBooks Online have this feature. Honestly, even lines that can just be filled with a description would be great - at present a line cannot be added to an invoice without a quantity, account and a price, and blank lines are removed when the Invoice/Quote is saved. Hi MYOB, I have created a number of custome reports that are similar, but not quite the same that I share across many of my clients. Currently, when you create a Report Pack, the name of the report shown in the Table of Contents is the unique report name, not the description of the report. As I have a number of these specialised reports, Each has a unique name that consists of abreviations for my own purpose. The Description of each report is what I would like to see shown in the Table of Contents when a report pack is run as this will be more meaningful to my clients. ALSO, while I am here, we need to be able to edit the description used in the Table of Contents for any reports that are imported into the Report Pack. As I am usually importing .PDF files into these reports, I don't want the name of the report to simply be the FileName.PDF. You should be able to specify the report's description when you import the file and that is what should be used in the TOC. I look forward to these improvements being implemented so that the product generates much more professional looking reports. In the new upgrade, the drop down from the Customer Name in invoices only shows the business, not the contact like it used to in the old Essentials. This means for us with multiple contacts at the one business to invoice, we cannot see which one is correct to select. The only way is to view invoice as pdf (which then saves it) and if it is wrong, we cant go and select another company/contact due to it being "saved". This is a terrible new function and incredibly time consuming; deleting the whole invoice and re-doing each time until the correct contact is found is ridiculous. **Example** Perhaps a customer comes back to you after you have issued them an invoice and want it changed to a more specific person/department/Owners Corp/Landlord etc...it can't be done and has to be deleted and re invoiced. What if the invoice was 5 pages long? Every line item cannot even be highlighted and copied, so it would need to be printed and manually entered all over again. PLEASE CHANGE BACK THIS FUNCTION! This is really adding stress to our business. So, it is 2-fold, this request. 1. Allow the option to change the customer on an invoice and 2. Show the contact for each company next to it. Hi all, I've just backloaded three months of data for my small business, and typically I will load data once, maybe twice, per month so the experience is probably going to be similar each time. Entering my expenses, I made so many careless errors with dates. Firstly I have specifically entered a date not today (so, July 1 in this example) and I am entering a few things. I entered the first Expense, then hit the button to save and add another. This gives me a fresh screen that has defaulted the dates to today. For every single invoice I had to change the date, which was exceptionally annoying for dates where I did processing and there was numerous transactions on the same day as the last. I absolutely agree that the screen should default to 'today' when it first opens. I'd like to suggest that the use of the button to save and add another should keep the last used dates by default. When making bank rules (MYOB wants us to try and automate as much as we can) when items on the bank transactions screen are auto reconciled using these on the GST report these items just come up as the description of the bank rule rather than the description of what the bank has. Only the transactions that are manually reconciled are coming up with this (e.g. Below). As accountants we need to review what is in the GST report by checking they are correct by the bank narration. As a work around we downloaded the GL transactions for this period however, we couldn’t see an option to remove any accounts not showing any movement (like other MYOB versions do). In saying this the GL transaction report doesn’t have a total column for the gross amount to check against the “amount column” gross in the example above.
